We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Stage 3 Classroom Teacher to join St Patrick's College, in a Temporary Part-Time (0.6FTE) job share position, commencing Monday 20 July and conclude Friday 4 December 2026.
Job Description
This role will involve teaching across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week and requires a teacher who is committed to fostering positive student outcomes, building strong relationships within a collaborative team environment, and contributing to the broader life of the school. The successful applicant will demonstrate effective classroom practice, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a job share arrangement to ensure continuity of learning and student wellbeing.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
A working understanding of, and commitment to the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.
Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.
Primary teaching qualifications with NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW.
Demonstrated excellence as a classroom practitioner.
Demonstrated success in differentiation of curriculum including implementation of effective literacy and assessment strategies.
Demonstrated effective classroom management through clear expectations, proactive behaviour strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Ability to effectively incorporate ICT into teaching, learning, and assessment to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
