Provide individual and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities, learning difficulties, and additional needs.

Support literacy and numeracy development, including helping with homework and reinforcing key concepts.

Assist students with social, emotional, and behavioural skills, and supervise during breaks, excursions, and other activities.

Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing, assisting with behaviour management and reinforcing classroom rules.

Implement a range of teaching and learning strategies under teacher guidance, such as one-on-one instruction, cooperative learning, scaffolding, modelling, and worked examples.

Assist classroom teachers in delivering differentiated learning and making curriculum adjustments as indicated in learning plans.

Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and relevant staff.

Assist with data collection and maintenance for legislative compliance (NCCD).

Undertake administrative tasks in support of NCCD and disability provisions.

Supervise students in various settings, including playgrounds, extracurricular activities, and school excursions.

Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure consistent support for students.

Participate in school activities, including staff meetings and professional learning sessions, as required.

Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment, aligned with school policies and child safety standards.
